Default HD Offroad Engineering Shackle Relocation Install

This is my first install post, so bear with me. I have done several upgrades to my xj in the past few months. This is by far one of the easiest and best upgrades i have done. I got them on sale for 130 shipped. I debated between RC and these and i feel that these give you extra strength. These are probably overkill, but hey i like overkill! On to the install...
I had already replaced my shackles a month prior to doing this so removing the bolts was easy for me. I have a hitch and skidplate that i didn't really want to remove so i just installed these on the outside. Here they are ready to be bolted up

They went in fairly easy...i had to get longer bolts where they mount to the skidplate and hitch. Here are a couple more pics.

I ended up moving the shackle back one more hole since these pictures. After installing them i flexed them out the best i could. Here is what i had

Flex was greatly improved and these made my rough country springs ride a whole lot smoother. Like i said these are a great and cheap upgrade. If you have any questions please let me know.

I've been looking at these for quite a while and my shackle angle is basically verticle. Glad to see they worked out for you and guess I'll start saving my pennies. Did you have a discount code or anything by chance?

No discount code. They were on sale the month of December. They may still be on sale. You will like them.
