Default Write up request: Replacing Driver door Lock Actuator

If anyone know how to replace the acutator on the driver side door, Mostly just need to know how to put those rods back in. I bought the Jeep with the driver side door disassembled already.

If it is just the rods you are worried about, I would pull the panel for the other door and just do a mirror image of what is there.

Lol, ya it was the rods. I started doing that. I got them on. The door opens from the inside but not from the outside. I see it moving something on the actuator but it wont open the door.

Hmmm, if you have that inside handle working and if the door lock works, only one short one left. I don't have a write up on that. I would use the other side for a frame of reference

apparently there is a hex nut on the actuator that needs to be tightened on new actuators. its accessed through the small hole on the side of the door once its installed.
