California is beautiful and feature rich, but it doesn't out weight the cost or the politics. Texas is amazing and if you've never been to a real mountain, the little hills we have in West Texas are...

If/when I can afford a camper with A/C etc... we'll go camping more often. Horrible to be tired and cannot sleep more than 30 minutes at a time because you're too freaking HOT! :mad0090:

I'd love to get the kids somewhere we could actually have an outside fire. That, and the stars, is the best thing about camping out.
