I specifically said said '89 4.0
and referenced that their site had listed the lifter via. as .904"
he said, "yes, .938" is the right size brush"...

Flex-Hone Brush Size - Lifters??
from what I find, the stock lifter for my '89 has a .904" dia.
I was going to order a Flex-Hone brush to deglaze them before I install the new lifters.
The closest brush size at Summit is .938"...
