Was it the GMC that you installed the LED lighting in? If it was in the XJ I thought that might have something to do with it.

That doesn't make any sense. Any modifications that might have caused an alternative electrical pathway? I know unpredictable things can occur when that is coupled with a blown fuse.

Do they come on when you rotate the headlight switch?
